If you've kept up with the programme you're already 2/3rds of the way home. There are just 8 remaining things to accomplish.
Let's look at what we've done so far. First we had a look at lifelong learning - becoming one is invaluable and can mean a lot for your personal growth and career. Then we moved on to the web 2.0 technologies that a lot of libraries are implementing in their day-to-day services like blogs, Flickr and RSS technologies. Libraries use these technologies to communicate with their clients and to provide information services like up-to-date news and SDIs. We went on to more playful things with image generators and we looked at LibraryThing that allow you to make your own online catalog, amongst other things.
Creating your own search engine was up next with Rollyo and the 13th thing on the list was showing you how to use tags, folksonomies and social bookmarking to make information available. We also looked at Technorati (searching for just the right blog) and lastly at Library 2.0 and Web 2.0 to remind you what it is about.
So good luck with the new year and the last few 'things' in Library Learning.
